Popular gaming sites that feature popular classic games (where the game rules are well-understood), such as bingo, poker, solitaire, and chess, all focus on trumping competitor's jackpot prizes. Poker Bingo .com on the other hand, needs to overcome a different obstacle for it to be a successful game site - teaching potential players the game rules of Poker Bingo.

The game rules of Poker Bingo are not difficult at all, but since it is a gambling game, people are playing with real money and do not want to pay too much of a "tuition fee" before getting the hang of the game. Therefore, during the game site design process, extra effort was put in to creating tutorials, both in HTML format and on-line video format.

The tutorial movie was created with software such as Final Cut and Snapz Pro, which captures movies of anything that displays on the computer screen. (In this case, the game play of Poker Bingo.) Careful edits of the tutorial voice-overs were laid down on the game play capture and further editing produced the tutorial in Quicktime movie file format.
