Part 1: Creating a "Bingo" Lifestyle

There are more online bingo sites than most people would imagine, and the competition amongst bingo sites are intense. In 2003, Bingoworkz.com wanted to redesign its website because it looked dated compared to the ones newly put up by its competitors.

After analyzing the designs of the most played bingo sites, it was easy to see that game prize was the most important factor for luring new players to join, so flashy big numbers were proudly displayed everywhere to a point that players could feel numb.

We teased with the idea of promoting our site with a slightly different perspective - a "bingo style" approach. The look of the site would stay away from the typical "casino glitter" look. Instead, it should look casual-elegant, light and colorful, friendly and well-established. It should also look dynamic and lively with promotions and events being updated weekly to keep people's interest high.

The result was overwhelmingly positive. Players liked the new look and even the Internet banner placement companies complimented us.
