The design process of the logo of SNAP2 was very long. In the summer of 2000, SNAP2 was about to have its initial public offering. The executive team was all busy, but they seemed to have the time to wait for their final corporate logo to surface. Out of the many candidates, the execute team selected this one because it looked dynamic and fluid: The two hands of the character are represented by two dots, and are connected with a line to represent the concept "Snap to". A running human form is in the middle of the two dots, and it represents speed and a "human touch" from start to finish.

This logo embeds three different ideas into one: "Living", "Room" and the letter "L". "Living" is represented by the general shape of the logo, which looks like a heart. "Room" can be seen in the logo because of the geometric shape and 3D shading. The letter L is the yellow part of the logo.
Ironically, "LivingRoom" is the name for a software product, and has very little to do with a real living room.
