BlackOut Bingo is a spin-off product from Bingoworkz's Bingo Central 4.0. The differences between the two games are graphics, bingo card patterns (in BlackOut Bingo, the only cards sold are "blackout" cards, which require a complete matching of all 24 numbers.), card prices and win prizes.

This game also has a distinct feature which Bingo Central doesn't have: a story and a main character, Bob. The story of the game is about an electrician who has to save BlackOut city, and the players are there to help him. The player who wins the game is the one who has helped out.

ABOVE: The game is made to look like a power plant: cold, metallic and lots of panels. A silhouette of a blackout cityscape is the game setup. Bingo Cards are designed to look like panels that control the flow of electricity. When all the numbers on the card match, it gets electrified and lets the power flow back to the city.

ABOVE: Players of the game will know that the cause of the blackout is caused by the cartoon rat. It acts as a mid-game "cheer-up" character which runs ramphantly in the city and chews on cables but yet never gets too electricuted. It gets fried briefly and lights up an electric filament is shaped into the words "Good Luck".

ABOVE: Power is restored to the city! But shortly a new game will start and darkness will rule again.
