The card game solitaire is nearly an essential game for any game system dedicated to providing "casual games". The reason to that might go back to Microsoft Windows version 3.1 bundling solitaire with the operating system. Not necessarily an easy game to win, but it provides entertainment to people who don't buy games.

Popular gambling games such as poker and black jack are also developed because passengers would like to "warm up" before playing for real in a casino.
